What do you mean by "highlight" - actual colored highlighting like you'd do
in a book or magazine, or *selecting* just a single word? If the latter there are any number of ways: 1- Double-click the word 2- Click at one end then Shift-Click at the other 3- Drag from one end of the word to the other 4- Navigate to the beginning of the word, then hold Shift+Control while pressing Right Arrow (or start at the right end of the word & use the Left Arrow) If the former, use the Highlighter Tool on the Formatting Toolbar (prior to 2007) which works with either of the first 3 suggestions above, or you can select the word first then go to the Highlighter tool. Look in Word Help for other ideas for selecting text using the keyboard or mouse. -- HTH |:) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac "Helene Jadot" Helene wrote in message ... |
