never have tried this and I need apage changed and can't seem to get it done

Go to 'File' menu. Select 'Page Setup'. You should see info. about the
margins being used at present, and below that, under 'Orientation' two buttons marked 'Portrait' and 'Lanscape'. Click whichever you want, then 'OK'. Your document should appear as you selected it. Sometimes you need to tell the printer as well, but in that case, in my experience, it warns you when you go to print.
