Default Isn't there a way to create your own custom toolbar buttons?

Maybe it was in Word Perfect, but I know at one time I created custom
buttons, say to apply a style or run a macro. Anyone?

the version of Word you're trying to do this is crucial.

Up and including to Word 2003, Tools | Customize | Toolbars is your friend.

In Word 2007, there simply are no toolbars anymore. The whole new Ribbon
UI is a big context menu, and the means to adapt it are few or only open
to XML wizards (or 3rd-party tools).
