When I make a typing mistake in MS Works 4.0, I delete the mistake, but then
I have to keep typing whatever words are left. How are you able to correct
only the mistake withou having to type everything again. It happens all the
time.

It happened one time before and I think I read how to correct that problem,
but I can not remember how I did it, or where I found the solution to that
particular problem. I know it is simple but it is beyond my memory.

I would appreciate any help to this problem.

Switch to Word?

If Works really has a problem like that, I can't imagine why anyone
would use it. But you'll need to ask in a newsgroup for Works, not one
for Word.

Make sure that you're in Insert rather than Overtype mode.
