Is there an option to have Word auto-update a TOC (maybe even any or all
fields) when I open a file? Thanks in advance. |

You can force an update of all fields prior to printing: check the
"Update fields" option in Tools | Options, Print tab. Alternatively, use the macro presented at http://gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm to update all fields. Call the macro AutoOpen and put it in normal.dot; then it will run when any document is opened. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Ron" wrote in message ... Hi, Is there any free tool for updating TOC other than openxml.. The above link was useful. But it is for word 2002-2003.. I couldn't track it up for word 2010.. Can you please give me a solution for using it in MS Word 2010.. Thanks in advance.. |
