how do I set up the voice recognition thing on my laptop?
Do I need a separate microphone to do the voice recognition training on my
laptop? I actually want to record a scenario onto a cd and thought this tool might help me do it but I have no idea how it works. |

Hi Sheilah,
Can you explain a bit about what you have in mind when you say 'recrod a scenrio onto a CD'? The Speech to Text software that ships with MS Office XP and Office 2003 will attempt to 'type for you' as you speak in a Word document http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...451261033.aspx http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...844501033.aspx you can also record a narration in a Powerpoint slide http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...500681033.aspx A microphone built into the monitor may work but one that is in a headset would likely give you more reliable results. =========== "Sheilah" wrote in message ...
