The TOC has a section break in the middle of the TOC. The break does not
show when viewed with non-printing symbols, only while trying to format headers and footers. Any suggestions as to how to remove this "hidden" section break? |

Are you sure that this is a section break and not a page break? Check
if the TOC styles have "Keep with next" or "Page break before" formatting defined. The latter would definitely cause a page break; the previous might do the same, if too many paragraphs in succession have the formatting (since Word must break the page at some point). Note that you'll find both of the options on the Line and Page Breaks tab of the Paragraph dialog box. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "DSargent" wrote in message ...
