In Word 2003 or earlier, click on Tools | Options | Edit tab | check the
"Typing replaces selection" box | OK. In Word 2007, click on Office Button | Word Options | Advanced | in the "Editing options" group, check the "Typing replaces selected text" box | OK. "Gimpy" wrote: I'm hitting some unknown combo that's taken away the function to delete a highlighted word, etc. Got it back once by accident, then lost it again. What typo am I committing? |
