Footnotes - Use symbols instead of numbers
How can I use symbols instead of numbers for footnotes, or in conjunction
with footnotes? This is useful to avoid repetition of the reference when it applies to more than one word or text element on the same page. For example, standard symbols used as footnotes would be a dagger or a plus sign. Maybe it's not called a footnote, in that case, but then what would it be called? I can't find it in Word anywhere. |
