I am using MS Word XP, and I'm having a weird problem. When I go to type in
an apostrophe, I am getting a funny looking E (it's a lower case e with an accent mark from a foreign language). I have tried three language settings in MS Word, and have tried making them all default, and without them being default. I tried English (Canada), which is what I am wanting to use, as I'm in Canada, English (U.S.) and English (U.K.). One of those three languages should certainly work! An earlier document I typed inserted the apostrophes just fine, but when I tried typing an apostrophe in that same document now, as well as in my new document, it comes up with the French e. I'm writing an essay for university, and if I can't get the apostrophe to work, then I can't submit the assignment. Please help. Thanks, Corey |
