I am running Vista Home Premium 64 on a Core 2 Quad @ 2.4 GHz with 4 GB
Ram. Recently upgraded from Office 2000 to 2007. I can open Word 2007 and open my document without any problems. But when I change the active windows and come back to Word, Word is extermely slow. The hourglass comes on for a good 8 to 10 seconds. I have to wait and cannot do anything. The CPU usage jumps by 25% during the wait time While I have a few applications such as Outlook and Excel open, I am not running any major applications. This is very frustrating. Help!!!!!!!!!! |
