Now that there seems to be more traffic in the newsgroup, I'll try
again. Does anyone know how to correct the errors in, say, the "Chicago" style Style for bibliographies? Yves Dhondt posted a "Chicago v2" Style at his BobWord or BibType web pages, which corrects two of the errors, but still it does things like omitting "eds." after the names of more than one book editor, and omitting the "Edition" field from "BookSection" entries, and not including the "Comments" field in any sort of entry, and using straight quotes instead of curly quotes for article titles; and worst of all, it orders the bibliography within authors by title rather than date. I was able to use his instructions to improve the data entry forms for the "JournalArticle" and "BookSection" panes so that the "Volume" and "Editor" are considered "important" fields in the two types respectively, so that I have a "Chicago v3," but any attempt to add the missing data, or to rearrange the output so that the date appears after the author instead of after the title, is thwarted because where the formulas for doing that should appear, is only the notation "LCID," which it turns out points to a "localization" folder named 1033, i.e. EnglishUS, which in turn does not contain any of the formulas that need to be tweaked. Can someone tell me where to find the formulas? Or can someone simply make the changes needed to make Word's "Chicago" style actually conform to the style of the Chicago Manual of Style? |
