I too, never paid any attention to that little icon! As you suggested, I may have inadvertently hit the icon when clicking on the UP arrow. Obviously, it also serves a "shortcut" to "turn-on/turn-off" the ruler! Learn something new every day!!!!! Bill On Wed, 3 Apr 2013 09:49:43 -0700 (PDT), "Peter T.
