![]() i am trying to figure out how to stop a specific word document from opening up with email-sending options. whenever i open the word doc, it opens in MSWord looking like email with a predefined subject field such as "specs document", a blank to field, and a blank cc field similar to what we see in outlook when sending emails out. is there way to stop this? it only happens with this particular document and i can't figure out why. i've also tried saving my own self-generated word docs as different file types and even tried changing mail option settings and whatever else is in the options menus to try and replicate what this file is doing in hopes of reverse engineering the problem. is this issue something i have control over? would this be something that someone "coded" into the page with html or vba macros? even if so, there should still be a way to view it in word w/o all the email sending options popping up. i thought it'd be as easy as unchecking a checkbox somewhere or removing a line of code... anyone know what i can do? please help...thanks in advance. -- GeoRob |
