A co-worker (who is also experiencing problems with Outlook 2003) cannot seem
to get her task pane to stay closed. We've clicked on the X to close it,
turned the "View " setting off, and turned off the "Open Task Pane on Start"
option in Tools, but it still comes up each time she opens Word. We are up to
date on virus software and spyware spoftware and I know this is not the
problem. She has also restarted her system several times, but we can't get
the task pane to stop opening up when she comes into Word!
