To begin with, if you check the box for "Different first page" on the Layout
tab of Page Setup, you'll get a separate First Page Header where you could put your newsletter nameplate. Alternatively, you can use a single-column section at the top of the newsletter or a frame spanning the columns. -- Suzanne S.
