Display nonprinting characters and make sure there are no empty paragraphs
in your footers. Also, if there are section breaks in the document, it's quite possible that the footer margin is set inconsistently. Select the desired footer margin in Page Setup, change the "Apply to" setting to "Whole document," and OK out. -- Suzanne S. "Jess" wrote in message ... I have a doc that is composed of several different docs that were cut and pasted. Now, all of my footers are different heights and I have tried to change them to "same as previous", but nothing seems to do the trick. Also, we have inserted section breaks into the document for a double column. When we look at the section break on the page it says "odd pages", but when we go into the properties it says that that section break is continuous. What is causing this? |
