You can handle this problem via Word app privilege featu
On the tools menu click "Protect Documet" and then select "Track Changes". After doing so, type a password below in the Password box, and then OK, so your document would be protected from accepting or rejecting the changes made by others. "Brian" wrote: I'm fairly new to word doc management. So pardon me if this is a silly question. I created a template document and then had a group of people create a set of documents. I collected those documents, made the final mods and corrections and now need to manage them. This is a set of approx 40 documents. I've turned on the track changes option in the documents... But what should I do to prevent someone from just "accepting" the changes they make before I have a chance to review and approve the change? Is this handled via OS level privilege or is this a word app privilege feature? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Brian |
