And for that matter, can it be done for other Office 2003 apps? This is the easiest thing in the world, using your Operating System. I'm presuming that you have Windows installed. I don't know how XP handles this, but in Win2K, go to Start / Programs / Accessories / System Tools / Scheduled Tasks and add a new task to open the specified file at a particular date and time. You can make it one-time-only or repetitive, as you wish. One caveat: You may need to have Administrator rights to your computer (which isn't always the case on a corporate system). |
