Spell check will check an entire document in any language you like (or any
combination of languages), but the text must be formatted with the correct language. You can try using the "Detect language automatically" setting in Tools | Language | Set Language, but it's notoriously poor. If you format each paragraph, sentence, or word with the correct language (this is easily done with paragraph or character styles), then you can spell check an entire document at one time, with the appropriate proofing tools applied to each word. -- Suzanne S. "mwilliam1" wrote in message ... In Microsoft Word as well as all of the other office applictions, you can't spell check a whol document in another language without having to select the text you want checked in the specific language. I find this annoying to have to keep on selecting new text that i type and marking the text as a specific language. Spell check should give the option to check the whole document as a specific language, without changing the language permanently. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
