Hi ?B?TWVs?=,
I have inserted a cross reference (I believe successfully) but the reference does not update (automatically or using F9) when the info changes. ie) I have a numbered outline list. One of my items refers to previous item, I've inserted the reference, and it appears, but when I make changes and the number of the referenced item changes the reference itself does not update to reflect the new number/change. Inserting a cross-reference should insert a REF field to a hidden bookmark with a funny name like _Ref111111111. If you press Alt+F9 do you see anything like that? (Alt+F9 again to turn off the field codes) Cindy Meister INTER-Solutions, Switzerland http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister (last update Jun 8 2004) http://www.word.mvps.org This reply is posted in the Newsgroup; please post any follow question or reply in the newsgroup and not by e-mail :-) |
