Hi ?B?TWljaGVsbGU=?=,
In a mail merge (using an excel spreadsheet as the database), how can you edit the text for the suburb (when its in small caps) to appear in caps for the merged word document. you can add formatting switches to the merge fields in the Word main merge document. Searching Format (\*) field switch in Word's Help turns up some useful switches. In order to force all caps, use: \* CAPS In order to edit the field codes of the merge fields, use Alt+F9 to toggle the field codes on/off. The end result should look something like this: { Mergefield Suburb \* CAPS } Cindy Meister INTER-Solutions, Switzerland http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister (last update Jun 8 2004) http://www.word.mvps.org This reply is posted in the Newsgroup; please post any follow question or reply in the newsgroup and not by e-mail :-) |
