Default correction +text +eliminate the words but to see them as a commen.

Word 2003 by default uses "balloons" to indicate deletions (in the Final
Showing Markup view). This is what you are seeing. If you prefer to see
deletions struck through, choose this formatting on the Track Changes tab of
Tools | Options and either disable balloons (same tab) or work in Normal
view.
