Default how do I get rid of "read only"

But copy it to the hard drive first. Files on CDR (disc?) are always read
only.
Note that if this is, as it appears, removable media, then always copy to
and from the media to the hard drive. Never work directly from the removable
media, or you are inviting document corruption.
