Someone e-mailed me a Word document that was about 2.7MB. Several people had
already edited it, and I am to make the final pass. I was surprised to find
that after a couple days, the document had grown to 4.8MB. I assumed it was
because of all the reviewing comments. However, the document suddenly saved
the other day at .8MB.

What happened? The only thing that seems to be different about the document
is that some of the earlier "tracked changes" are now highlighted gray and
the editor is marked as "unknown."
