How can I globally change a specific font throughout a Word document?

Hi Ed,

The best case would be if all the text you want to change has the same style
applied to it. Then you just modify the style's font properties, and
everything that has that style changes immediately. (The menu path is Format
Style choose the style's name Modify Format Font.)


If the document wasn't set up that way, you can use the Edit Replace
dialog to apply a font change directly. Click the More button in the dialog
to expand the bottom of the dialog. Click in the Find What box; then click
the Format button, choose Font, and select the name of the current font.
Click OK. Now click in the Replace With box, click Format Font, and choose
the name of the new font. Click OK. The old and new fonts should be listed
under the Find What and Replace With boxes, respectively; leave the boxes
themselves empty. Click the Replace All button.
