You need click on the "Accept All Tracked Changes" and "Delete
All Comments" commands on the Reviewing toolbar. I suspect that you only changed to Final view on the Reviewing toolbar, which hides the tracked changes, but does not remove them. See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...983881033.aspx and http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/trac...ngesWorks.html for more information. Beth wrote: I am using 2003 and have tracked changes to my document. I have accepted all deletions, unchecked the 'Make hidden markup visible when opening or saving' (Tools Options Security), marked it as final and even made it read-only. I email the doc which comes across with all these settings however the recipient is still able to review it as the original, original with markup, and final with markup. I have even tried copying the contents and pasting into a new document and the changes are still visible. Can anyone help me with this - I have a very important document to send to one of our customers and I do not want them to see the changes!! Thank you in advance from some one who has less hair than when she started work this morning! |
