I have QuarkXpress 4.1 documents, that were created by someone who did not
truly understand how to use QuarkXpress, that I need to convert from .qxd documents into .docs. Is there a batch conversion functionality within Word to accomplish this or is my best bet conversion software and if so which would provide the best conversion outcome. |

Word _can't_ make the conversion & I doubt that any file conversion software
will provide a result worth the time, effort or cost (although I admit that I have not actually tried). The file structures are totally different. If you can't use some version of QX to revise the files to an acceptable state or use a feature of that program to export content in a format Word can read, you're 'best bet' is to copy & paste the text & graphics one story/image at a time.
