If you have clickable hyperlinks to Powerpoint and Excel files in
your Word file, then the hyperlinks should be clickable in PDF. You need to use Acrobat PDFMaker (not Acrobat PDFWriter) to convert from Word to PDF. In the Acrobat conversion settings, choose to preserve hyperlinks. See http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/330729.html for more information.
