I am trying to create a dynamic hyperlink within a mail merge document, and
am having problems getting it to work. The URL is a combination of the HyperlinkBase from the document properties, a page name from a mergefield, and am just appending the .htm extension as follows: { Hyperlink {DocProperty HyperlinkBase} {MERGEFIELD Course_id} ".htm" } However, when the merge runs, all i get is the Hyperlink base as the URL - no page name. Can anybody let me know what i'm doing wrong. Many thanks in advance |

Try
{ Hyperlink "{DocProperty HyperlinkBase}{MERGEFIELD Course_id}.htm" } But you will probably not be able to get the display text to vary whatever you put in the field.
