You can't turn off automatic page breaks. When Word gets to the end of a
page, it starts a new one. You can control where that happens by adjusting your margins and paragraph spacing. http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TextReflow.htm Much of the rest is under AutoFormat as you Type. Tools AutoCorrect Options... AutoFormat As You Type (tab) Uncheck most of these options. I have the bottom two sections completely unchecked.
