See "Formatting Word fields with switches" on fellow MVP Graham Mayor's
website at http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis. Doug Robbins - Word MVP "Yvonnej" wrote in message news ![]() When doing a mail merge (merging with an Excel document) the numbers to be merged have one decimal place, i.e. 5.1, 6.9, etc. When they come thru they appear with extra decimal places, i.e. 5.1 appears as 5.0999999999999996. I have changed the formatting of the numbers but it doesn't seem to help. Thanks -- YvonneJ |
