Either select Toolbars from the View menu and check the Mailmerge toolbar -
it gives you all the functionality that you need - or select Customize from the Tools menu and select the All Commands category on the Commands tab and locate the Mail Merge Helper item and left click on it and drag it onto a toolbar. You will then have the old interface back. -- Please respond to the Newsgroup for the benefit of others who may be interested.
