I tried creating a new "data source" wizard but it pulls only 2 records (175
records) and doesn't give me the option to select the data in the spreadsheet (like before). |

Did you upgrade from Word 97/2000?
If so, your best bet is to check Word Tools|Options|General|"Confirm conversions at open" and re-connect to your data source, selecting the DDE option when offered.
