I have an 8 page Word document and need to number the front pages of each
from 1-3000 and then print 3000 sets. Would normally use mail merge using Excel and Word for a 1 page document but it doesn't work with 8 pages. Any ideas anybody? |

You may find that a { MERGEREC } or { MERGESEQ } field will generate the
number you need. If you can merge to a new document (not necessarily a good idea with the size of job you mention), each new set will be in a new section, so you could use a { SECTION } field.
