See "Formatting Word fields with switches" on fellow MVP Graham Mayor's

Questions sent directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis. Hope this helps, Doug Robbins - Word MVP "Pat" wrote in message ... In MS Office Professional 2003, a Excel data colum which should return, for example, 3.444 in the Word merge field insteads returns 3.4440000000000002, adding 13 numbers to the field. Checks of the original Excel column shows proper formatting for both the column and when checked individually. The Excel text input bar at the top also displays the correct number with none of the added numerals. I have re-done the Word document, but still get the unwanted numbers. Any thoughts appreciated |
