Default Can't Find MS Word after installation!!

I was getting some error messages with MS Word so I decided to reinstall it.
After installation, however, I can't find the Word program anywhere and I
don't know how to run it. The installation completes fine, and Word is
listed under "Add/Remove Programs". However, I can't find MS Word in any
folders, and I even did a file search and didn't find anything.

I run Win XP Home Ed and keep up to date w/ updates.
The MS Word is 2002, and is part of MS Works Suite 2004.
I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and restarting in different
combinations and orders, and no luck. Thank you.

Use Windows Explorer or My Computer to search for the WINWORD.EXE
file on your hard drive (it might be in the "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office10" folder). If you find it,
right-click on the file, and left-click on Create Shortcut to
create a shortcut to Word on your Windows desktop.

File not found. It does find WINWORD.EXE-0614BEA2.pf in C:\WINDOWS\PREFETCH;
that's the only result.

It's really weird cause if I go to the control panel, and click on
"Add/Remove Programs", Microsoft Word is listed on the programs list. But
there's no sign of the program. I have already tried uninstalling it, and
installing it again, and the problem persists. What now?
