Default How do I sort two documents with subentries?

You can use Outline view for this if you have used heading styles for the
main entries. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/UsingOLView.htm

I have two long lists, that include many subentries for each of the lists'
many main entries. How do I sort or merge them into one long list, with

the
main entries alphabetized, but keeping each main entry's respective
subentries?
