New document suddenly doesn't conform to normal.dot which is OK.
Normal.dot is OK (8.5x11) and located where it should be. However, a new
document doesn't conform to its specs. The new doc is square and does not change when I adjust the page setup. This suddenly happened just a few days ago. |

Do you know why this isn't the default mode any longer? This has been
driving me nuts as I thought there was something wrong with the normal.dot template. And if this isn't the default any longer, how can I make it a default option so I don't have to check mark show white space everytime I make a new document? Thanks! If opening normal.dot directly and fixing it there doesn't work
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/...ocNotBlank.htm , then add an autonew and an autoexec macro to normal.dot each containing the line ActiveWindow.View.DisplayPageBoundaries = True http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Shahna M. wrote: Do you know why this isn't the default mode any longer?
