What version of Word are you using? If Word 2007 then all you can do
is right-click the Close command under the Microsoft Office Button and add it to your QAT and use it instead of the X to close. Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for assistance by email can not be acknowledged. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beth Melton Microsoft Office MVP Office 2007 Preview Site: http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/default.mspx Office 2007 Community Articles/Tutorials: http://www.microsoft.com/office/prev...e_archive.mspx TechTrax eZine: http://mousetrax.com/techtrax/ MVP FAQ site: http://mvps.org/ "rgb" wrote in message ... when "close" last document, Word automatically "exits."
