I want Word to overide the printer defaults
I want to print text onto preprinted labels that are 120mm wide by 75mm high.
I have set up this page size in Word )both in the document itself and also as custom size in print set up) but the printer (a Canon S400) insists on printing as an A4 page. This used to work perfectly well with Windows 98 and Office 98 (?) but has not worked since we updated to Windows XP and Office XP. If you have a solution please email me at Thanks |

This is a public forum not a private service so you must come here for your
replies. Word will only print to page sizes allowed by the printer driver. Windows XP clearly uses a different driver from Windows 98. In order to print on a non standard paper size the simplest plan is to set the next larger available size and adjust the printing area with larger margins. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Adrian wrote: I want to print text onto preprinted labels that are 120mm wide by 75mm high.
