Auto recovery doesn't 'save' the document every ten minutes. It only saves
autorecovery information for use in the event of a crash. If you have over-written an earlier version and don't have a backup, then it is gone. See http://www.gmayor.com/automatically_backup.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Jon wrote: I believe to have saved a word document say at 23:30, but the file on the OS reads 18:10. I have auto-recovery turned on to save every 10 minutes, and I cannot find any copies of the file. Any ideas how to recover? |
