Are you typing in a text box? Text boxes cannot continue on the following
page. However, you can insert an additional text box and then link them, to have text flow across pages. If you are typing in a table cell, make sure that the row does not have a fixed height (Row tab of the Table Properties dialog box). Also, make sure that the "Text wrapping" for the table is set to "None" (Table tab of the Table Properties dialog box). To display the Table Properties dialog box, you can right-click the table and choose that option from the context menu. Another possibility, affecting some versions of Word, is an issue with text column formatting. To fix this, click Columns on the Format menu. Select the "One" format, even it already appears to be selected, and click OK. If this works, and you are seeing the issue with new blank documents, you need to open the normal.dot template as a file and repeat the procedure there (see http://word.mvps.org/faqs/apperrors/...ocnotblank.htm for instructions). -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "downtown" wrote in message ... |
