Hi Joel
Joel Barnes wrote: When I choose to save my protected document as a Web Page (any kind, Word 2003), the values of the drop-down fields are not saved properly. The fields continue to work while I'm using MS Word. But when I load the *.htm or *.mht file into the web browser, the drop-down form and its value is missing from the web page. All other text and fields are present. Is this just broken? And is there a workaround to get the selected item of the drop-down box to appear. I don't need the form to work on the web page - good, because unfortunately, life isn't that easy! :-) I just want it to retain and show the field item (text) that was chosen before I saved it as a web page. Then it's probably best to unlink the form field(s) before saving as HTML. The shortcut for this is CRTL-SHIFT-F9 (I think; sorry, no running Word present here at the moment :-)).
