I would like to remove the Theme Fonts category from Microsoft Word 2007
since I don't use it. Can someone tell me how to do this?

If you're referring to the Theme Fonts button in the Themes group of
the Page Layout ribbon, it can't be removed -- none of the built-in
ribbon groups can be altered.

If you're truly determined, get Patrick Schmid's RibbonCustomizer
add-in from http://pschmid.net/office2007/ribboncustomizer. Use it to
remove the entire built-in Themes group and replace it with your own
group that omits the offending button. If this seems to you to be too
much trouble, then do what most people do -- just ignore the things
you don't use.
