I need to know tips for writing academic papers.

Tip 1- don't plagarize.
Tip 2 - Waiting to the last minute, because you really work well under
pressure is a bad idea.

Tip 3 - Contacting your teacher to ask for a deadline extension, on the day
before or on the morning that the project is due, is also a bad idea.

Just kidding.

You don't explain what you mean by an academic paper. Are you writing at the
pre-college, college, or graduate level?

You can do a google search for writing effective term papers. The
requirements for high school term papers, compositions, etc. are slightly
different from the requriements for college level term papers.

Google should also lead you to templates for the MLA or APA or Chicago style
sheets. These document formats prescribe very specific rules for document
layout and structure.

If you writing your first master thesis, then you will need to consult with
your advisor for the requirements.

This forum can help you beat MS Word into submission in order to layout the
draft to final document. As far as the content and research, you will need to
look at other websites. Sorry.
