I have found that when I try to use SMALL CAPS in comment bubbles, they are
turned into regular fonts at a smaller size. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance! |

That's actually how Word produces small caps in any text, though it usually
isn't reflected in the font size box. Only if you use a font that contains true small caps do you actually get small caps that are proportionate to the rest of the text. -- Suzanne S. Thanks for the message! But if I understand you correctly, Times New Roman
font should look right, since it is a "TrueType" font. But this font just appears smaller in comment bubbles. It also prints that way. This never happened to me when I used the older version of Word. Are you getting caps? If not, it may be that Word is reducing the font size
without capping the letters. Many types of formatting don't work in comments, and this may be one of them. -- Suzanne S. No, I'm not getting caps. Instead, the font is simply shrunk (I'd guess by 2
points). As you suggest, this may be a glitch. But I was definitely able to use small caps in bubbles in Word 2003. Thanks again for your time. "Suzanne S. Barnhill" wrote: Are you getting caps? Note that if you are trying to change the default settings for comments, you
will probably have to modify both the Balloon Text and Comment Text paragraph styles. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "IK_24" wrote in message ... No, I'm not getting caps.
