lI have a password protected document with all my user names and passwords. I would like to know if there is a way to hide the open window so that it will only show on the screen when I hit a pre-assigned hot key combination. Just leaving it on the task bar is iinviting curious eyes to copy the info when I am away from my desk for a few minutes. I use this list all the time so I don't want to constantly open and close the document. Make the document look like something you need all the time, and put a table in it. Maybe a master phone list. Add a blank row on top. Put all your passwords in the first cell of this blank row. Then format the height of that row to something like Exactly .01. When you want to view your passwords, open the doc and reformat the row height to Auto. And save the doc with a name that does not indicate it has passwords in it! Ed |
