Default autotextlist

I defined an autotextlist field in a document on our server.
It works fine for me...shows five list items.
But when anyone else accesses it, they get a zillion autotext items, not the
ones I programmed.
So, Using the organizer, I copied all of the six items from my autotextlist
into the document so i know they are stored in the document, not just in my
normal template.
I also check the styles in the document I put on the server; yes, it has the
style that I used when I created the autotextlist.
But still it won't display the desired list when others use it.
Why?

AutoText entries cannot be stored in documents, only in templates. Unless
you send the template, no one who receives the document will have the
AutoText entries. To confine the list to the ones in your field, you must
define a custom style to be used for them (and only them). See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/AutoTextList.htm for complete
instructions.
