Perhaps I fail to understand the feature you describe, but it sounds more like a function of your mouse and mouse driver than of Word. Check your mouse settings. For example, using Start Settings Control Panel Mouse, I can set my scroll-wheel mouse to have "Universal Scroll" as the function for the scroll wheel button. When I click that button the "cursor" changes to a scrolling symbol, and I can drag to scroll the document past that symbol. Bear -- Windows XP, Word 2000 |
